Are ComfyUI workflow JSON and API prompt JSON the same record?

No. The workflow field stores an editor graph; the prompt field stores API class types and inputs. This example returns both records, each containing LoadImage and SaveImage nodes, with no single saved text prompt.

How the case was made

We attach two hand-built JSON records to a code-drawn PNG. The workflow parser must return both fields and two nodes for each. The saved-prompt parser separately returns null.

Observations recorded 2026-09-19 using Node v23.11.0 and sharp 0.35.4. JSON seed values are strings to retain integer precision. A null prompt means the reader did not return a supported saved prompt.
