Checking images from ChatGPT, Midjourney and other AI tools
AI image tools can leave names, prompts and generation details in downloaded files. isGenAI reads supported saved details, including common Stable Diffusion prompt fields, and signed image records when present. A filename or tool name on its own does not establish how a picture was made.
ChatGPT and OpenAI images
Upload the original download to check any saved AI labels and creation history. Reposted copies may carry different details from the original.
Midjourney and Stable Diffusion
Look for generator names and saved prompts. The report identifies the field we read so you can distinguish a saved statement from a signed record.
Edited and reposted pictures
Compare the original and the version you received. Matching copies and recorded edits can add context without relying on how realistic the picture looks.

What does “No signs of AI found” mean?
The checks found no supporting AI labels or creation details in that copy. It does not certify the picture as a camera photograph. Open the report to see which checks completed, then look for the original file or source.
