isGenAI.com · AI replies checker for X

Threads on X fill with replies that read like a model wrote them. isGenAI scores each reply on the signals above and tells you what share of the replies under a post look AI or bot-driven, in one number.

Free. No account. Up to 500 replies per check.

Three ways to check a post

  • Browser extension. Install the isGenAI Chrome extension, open any post on x.com and press AI replies. It reads the replies already on the page and shows the percentage next to the post.
  • This page. Paste the replies, one per line. Start a line with @handle: to include the author and with [time] to include when it was posted; both sharpen the estimate.
  • API and MCP. POST to /v1/x-replies or call estimate_x_ai_replies on the isGenAI MCP server.

What the score reads

Each reply gets a score from 0 to 100 from the signals it shows: how it opens, whether it restates the post, assistant-style phrasing, punctuation and emoji habits, promo links, duplicates across the thread, how fast it was posted, and what the author profile exposes. Replies at 50 or above count as likely AI; the headline is their share of all replies read.

Questions about AI replies on X

How does the X AI replies checker work?

It scores every reply on patterns common to AI and bot replies: generic praise openers, restating the post, assistant-style phrasing, em dashes, piles of hashtags or emoji, promo links, identical text across replies, replies posted within a minute of the post, handles ending in digits, default avatars and very new accounts. Replies over the threshold count as likely AI, and the headline is the share of the total.

Where do the replies come from?

Either paste them here, one per line, or use the isGenAI browser extension on x.com: open a post, press the AI replies button and it reads the replies on the page and shows the estimate on the spot. Nothing is scraped from X by isGenAI's servers.

Is the percentage exact?

It is an estimate from the reply text, author details and timing available on the page. Treat it as a quick read of how much of a thread is engagement farming, not as a ruling on any one account.

Can I call this from code or an AI assistant?

Yes. POST the replies to /v1/x-replies (no API key) or call the estimate_x_ai_replies tool on the isGenAI MCP server from Claude or ChatGPT.
