ACS rules the generator applies
- Authors: Surname, I. I. with periods and spaces in the initials, separated by semicolons.
- Journal details: the CASSI journal abbreviation in italics (for example J. Am. Chem. Soc.), then the year in bold, the volume in italics, the issue in parentheses and the page range with an en dash.
- Books: the title in italics, the edition, the publisher and the year. ACS also names the publisher’s city; add it after the publisher if your journal requires it.
- DOI: written as “DOI: 10.xxxx”.
