Stretch an image to any size

Need a picture to fill a banner, a slot or a screen exactly? Type the width and height you want and the image is stretched to fit, on your device, with no upload, no account and no watermark.

Your images never leave this browser. No upload, no server, no AI model call: just instant local processing.

Selected files: 0 · PNG, JPEG and WebP · up to 8 MB per file and 12 million pixels · 40 MB per batch. Animated files export as one clean still.

Your export is a fresh, clean file: no saved prompts, EXIF or Content Credentials ride along. Keep the original when you need its creation records.

How to stretch an image

Pick a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 8 MB, or try the example. The page shows the original width and height. Type the new width and height in pixels: any value from 1 to 12,000 on each side works, and the two do not have to keep the original proportions. That is the point of stretching. Doubling the width while keeping the height makes everything twice as wide; the reverse makes it tall and narrow.

Select Run tool and compare the preview with the original. Stretching scales each axis by a different factor, so circles turn into ovals and text looks wider or taller. Small changes of 5 to 10 percent are usually hard to notice. To keep the shape instead, scale both sides by the same factor, or add padding around the picture. Download the stretched PNG when it looks right.

  1. Pick an image from your device, or select Try an example to load a test grid.
  2. Enter the exact width and height you want, in pixels, then select Run tool.
  3. Check the stretched preview and its dimensions, then download your PNG.

Your questions, answered

How do I stretch an image without cropping it?

Enter a new width and height on this page and select Run tool. The whole picture is scaled to fill exactly that rectangle, so nothing is cut off; the image is widened or heightened instead. The result downloads as a PNG.

How do I stretch a picture to fit a banner or a screen?

Find the size the slot expects, for example 1500 × 500 pixels for a header, and enter it as the width and height. The image is stretched to exactly those pixels. If the distortion is too visible, add padding to reach the size instead.

Will stretching an image make it blurry?

Enlarging an axis spreads the existing pixels over more space, so fine detail softens; shrinking an axis stays sharp. Stretching by a small amount is usually invisible, while doubling one side makes softness and distortion easy to see.

Is my image uploaded when I stretch it?

No. The image is decoded and stretched in your browser, on your device. It never reaches our server, and the PNG you download is a fresh export without the original file's metadata.
