Recraft AI image detector: what the export can show
Recraft publishes no provenance documentation we could find as of October 2026, so a Recraft image is identified only by the records in the exported file, and isGenAI lists each one with its source field or reports that none were found.

AI source type declared
The file labels itself as AI-made.
IPTC DigitalSourceType such as trainedAlgorithmicMedia is read from XMP and shown with its exact value.
Check an image →What we verified
Recraft exports raster and vector images from its own hosted pipeline. We found no vendor statement on C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC DigitalSourceType or prompt metadata in those exports, and Recraft does not appear in the vendor listings we checked. SVG exports are outside the AI image detector entirely, since the checker reads raster containers.
Assume nothing; inspect the file.
What isGenAI reads
For PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF and TIFF exports, the checker validates any C2PA manifest, reads the IPTC source type from XMP, quotes AI statements in metadata, reads saved prompts in the AUTOMATIC1111, ComfyUI and InvokeAI formats and matches the hash and perceptual fingerprint against its records.
No record means “no evidence found”. The report does not fall back to a pixel-based guess.
Vector exports and conversions
An SVG from Recraft has no EXIF or C2PA container that the checker reads. If you need an evidence report, export the raster version and check that. Converting an SVG to PNG in another tool creates a new file whose metadata belongs to that tool, not to Recraft.
The format pages explain which containers each file type offers.
Recraft is often used for logos, icons and brand illustrations, so the file you meet may be a designer’s re-export inside a brand kit. Ask for the raster file exactly as it left Recraft, and check that one before any edits.
How to check an image from this generator
- Get the original download, not a screenshot or a copy saved from a chat or social feed.
- Upload it to the free AI image detector. Files up to 20 MiB in PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF or TIFF are read on the server and are private by default.
- Open “How we checked” and read each finding with its source field: signed record, declared source type, saved prompt, AI statement or matching copy.
- Treat a clean result as “no evidence found”, never as proof that a person made the picture.
Frequently asked questions
Does Recraft add metadata to its images?
We found no Recraft documentation of C2PA, IPTC source types or saved prompts as of October 2026. Inspect the actual export with isGenAI.
Can isGenAI check a Recraft SVG?
No. The AI image detector reads PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF and TIFF. Export the raster version from Recraft and check that.
Is a Recraft image detectable after a screenshot?
No. Screenshots carry no file records and isGenAI does not infer origin from pixels.
What does an empty report mean?
That the file contains none of the records isGenAI reads. It is an absence of evidence, not proof of a human author.
