- Run the cropper, inspect the preview and download the PNG. Reduce the crop size or move its starting point if the rectangle extends past an image edge.
Frequently asked questions
How do I crop an image to a square?
Use the same width and height. For a centered crop, X = (original width − crop width) ÷ 2 and Y = (original height − crop height) ÷ 2. Use whole-pixel coordinates and ensure the rectangle fits inside the image.
Does cropping resize the pixels I keep?
No. The selected rectangle is exported at its chosen pixel dimensions without scaling. Use the image resizer separately if you also need a smaller or larger output.
