Image Rotator

Rotate an image clockwise and keep the whole picture on an expanded transparent canvas.

Your selected images stay in this browser. No AI model call or server upload.

Selected files: 0 · PNG, JPEG and WebP. Up to 8 MB per file and 12 million decoded pixels. Batch totals cannot exceed 40 MB. Exports are still images; animation is not retained.

Settings

Exported images do not carry the original saved prompts, EXIF or Content Credentials. Keep the original file when you need its creation records.

Choose an angle in degrees. The output canvas expands around the rotated corners. Right-angle rotations are useful for orientation; other angles introduce resampled edges.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the image you want to straighten or reorient.
  2. Enter a whole-number angle from −360 to 360 degrees. Positive values turn clockwise; negative values turn counterclockwise.
  3. Run the rotation and review the expanded canvas. Download the PNG with transparent space around any exposed corners.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate an image without cropping its corners?

Yes. The canvas expands to contain the rotated image. At angles other than right angles, transparent areas fill the space around the image. The expanded output must remain within the 12-million-pixel limit.

How do I remove the empty corners after rotation?

Use the cropper to select an interior rectangle, or replace transparency with a background color. Cropping removes part of the picture; replacing transparency keeps the full expanded canvas.
