Image Color Picker

Read the exact decoded RGBA and hexadecimal color at a selected image coordinate.

Your selected images stay in this browser. No AI model call or server upload.

Selected files: 0 · PNG, JPEG and WebP. Up to 8 MB per file and 12 million decoded pixels. Batch totals cannot exceed 40 MB. Exports are still images; animation is not retained.

Settings

Exported images do not carry the original saved prompts, EXIF or Content Credentials. Keep the original file when you need its creation records.

X and Y start at zero in the top-left corner. Values describe the browser-decoded pixel, which can differ from unconverted source color values. Transparent pixels include an alpha value.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the image containing the color you want to inspect.
  2. Enter X and Y coordinates, starting at zero in the top-left corner. X must be below the width and Y below the height.
  3. Run the picker, read the hex and RGBA values, and copy the result data or download its JSON report.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a hex color from an image?

Select the image, enter the pixel coordinates and run the picker. The result includes a six-digit RGB hex value plus separate red, green, blue and alpha values. It measures the browser-decoded pixel.

Why does a transparent pixel's hex color look different on screen?

The six-digit hex value describes RGB without transparency. The visible appearance also depends on the separate alpha value and the background underneath it. Read both RGB and alpha when reproducing a translucent color.
